1950s Halter Swing Dress - Brown Herringbone

We've taken our classic 1950s boned halter dress and given it a fresh seasonal update. 

Our 1950s inspired halter swing dress was originally launched in 2016 in iconic fifties cotton prints. We thought we'd give it a new lease of life by trying it in our wool blend hgerringbone. With a few tweaks update the style - this is a knockout vintage dress that crosses easily into contemporary styling too.

Bodice is boned and has sweetheart shaping around the neckline created by 3 darts at the centre. Whilst the boning will easily allow you to wear strapless, there is a neck halter strap which buttons on the inside to allow adjustment. Bodice also  shirring at the side to adjust for fit. 

Skirt is a full circle but has two inverted pleats on front and back for added interest. Bodice is lined and has a back zip.

The fabric is a wool blend - which means it will crease a little and requires hand wash or dry clean.
