1940s Keyhole Blouse - Black
Designed to make you feel like a million dollars - simple, sophisticated, chic and supremely flattering. A classical design influenced by American 1940s styles and a new favourite.
Raised, mandarin style neckline closes with a hook and eye above a deep shaped keyhole . Simple shape of blouse has grown on cap sleeves and is shaped via deep darts into the waistline. Has a side zip and vents at side for fit - which means it can be worn tucked in or out.
This blouse has been made in another specially sourced rayon crepe - feels really vintage and is a very high quality fabric.

Fabric: 100% rayon
Washing instructions: Cold hand wash (shrinkage may occur) - dry flat - iron back into shape OR Dry clean. 100% rayon fabrics, whilst they are more authentic, they do require more care than synthetic fibres.

Absolutely beautiful blouse!! I got so many comments when wearing it - the fabric print is divine and it fits beautifully!
I already own this beautiful dress in the Black version and simply adore it. This one in the Delic print was no exception, in fact, this one is probably my new favourite. It fits like a dream and the compliments that I kept receiving, were endless. I paired it with some Joanie Montpellier, 70s style platforms. Because the print has so many beautiful colours in it, this could be paired with quite a few different coloured accessories. The only thing I would point out, and it’s certainly not a negative, is that the material in the Delic print, seems to have so much more stretch in it, than the Black Barbara one that I own, I actually looked at the material content, but it does state that both styles are exactly the same. If you are big busted and have to wear a bra, it will need to be a plunge one, otherwise, it would show.
Overall, this is, as, mentioned, my new favourite, it really is stunning.
This top is really beautiful and looks truly vintage. My only concern is with the sizing: I ordered a size 8, although I'm theoretically a size 10 according to your chart, and it's way too big! The previous keyhole tops I ordered in a size 8, a few years ago, were much smaller and fitted me better. What's going on with the sizing? Didi it change? Please give more accurate measurments per garment for those who order from Europe and pay a lot in tax fees and can't really return the clothes (too expensive)...
The moment I saw this dress, I knew I had to have it and when it was delivered, it was everything and more, that I’d hoped for.
I’ve worn it a good few times and have had so many comments. It’s so classy but has a hint of ‘sexy’ thrown in, just for good measure. It’s sophisticated and looks absolutely stunning. What I will say, is that these dresses seem to be cut from vintage patterns, which equals, vintage sizing, so if you’re very busty, like me, you may need to size up, even maybe a few sizes.
The House Of Foxy, please bring it out in more block colours, I’d happily add to my collection if you did!!.
