A fantastic new blouse - with added finesse. We are simply thrilled with this new 1940s blouse and fans of authentic vintage will love all the 1940s details we have added.

We have not held on this beauty.

Wear the collar open or button up to the top, using the loop with the hidden covered button. This makes it super authentic. Sleeves are long and full with a slim cuff which fastens with 2 covered buttons. We've also added a small shoulder pad in the sleeve head - which again creates that iconic 1940s silhouette.

Since it is mainly designed to be tucked into natural/high waisted trousers or skirts, the 5 *shell buttons stop just above the waist. Beautiful tailored darts into the waist create a flatter blouson look.

Check out those pockets! Fabulous chevron shape pocket with feature fold. Whilst you wont be able to put a great deal of modern items in those pockets - they simply look darling and just scream 1940s.

Significant Shrinkage after 1st wash- Incredibly Disappointed

I recently purchased the Sweetheart blouse in plum and it shrank considerably upon washing it the 1st time and is now pretty much unwearable. I didn't even have a chance to wear it.

I saw on the tag that it might shrink, and I was careful to use cold water and not to soak it. I dried it flat and now it appears overall shorter, tighter around the bust and waist and even the sleeves are shorter plus one sleeve cuff is now angled shorter on one side.

I am now incredibly nervous to wash any of the items I just purchased (several hundred dollars worth). These items really should be labeled as dry clean only. :(

Viscose is a beautiful but delicate fabric, and while it can temporarily change shape after washing, it usually returns to form with a gentle steam iron. If that hasn’t been the case for you, we’d really appreciate the chance to look into it further.

Fantastic

Love the Sweetheart Blouse so much! Have this lovely blouse in many colours and so happy that now also in navy. The cut is great and the fabric is very comfortable. What I especially love are the shoulder pads, which ensure a great fit. However, I'm going to swap the white buttons on the navy blouse for blue ones, simply because I like them better (it's a matter of taste). With my 98cm bust and 72cm waist, I ordered size 12 (as always with the Sweetheart blouse), and it fits perfectly. Thanks!

Perfect staple

I wear these blouses all the time for work, & receive so many compliments. They’re just so flattering. I put off buying the black for a while, as it seemed too ‘boring’, but it’s so versatile so I would highly recommend. Just waiting on a red to be restocked… 👀

Gorgeous blouse

Just picked up this blouse is cranberry after already having a few other shades/prints. The style is spot on as always but the colour is truly spectacular. Saturated and vivid - I can’t wait to wear this all through spring and summer
