30s Marlene Trousers - chalk stripe wool
Part of our new 'Marlene' androgynous 1930s separates collection - these stunning new tailored style trousers were a labour of love.
Produced in a sumptuous wool chalk stripe stripe from iconic Yorkshire Mill - Abraham Moons.
Inspired by Marlene Dietrich's iconic and daring masculine look in the 1930s, these are based on peg trousers from our brother Cousin Jack and have been adapted for the feminine figure. You will not find details like this in a normal trouser and we are thrilled with the result. We are sure you will be too!
Note the high waist with integrated belt feed through loops which you can use any slim belt with. Also has two side pockets. Deep front pleats and wide leg with turn up. Pair with the marlene waistcoat or any of our blouses or knitwear.
The wide leg is approx 21 inches circumference. Deep pleat on the front runs into a strong and slimming crease.
