30s Riviera Wrap Jumpsuit - Rose Linen
This fantastic 1930s style jumpsuit is based on a selection of 1930s/1920s photos and originals - then adapted for the modern wearer. So versatile and great for the summer months or holidaying abroad.
In the late 1920s and into the 1930s, casual wear started to become more acceptable and the beach pyjama or 'playsuit', as it was sometimes called, started to appear in fashion journals. Many vintage fashion fans will have come accross many photographs from the 1930s featuring an array of splendid examples of this amazing fashion phenomenon.
During the 20s and 30s, the all in one was seen as a demure yet practical alternative for summer wear dresses. This style retains the wide trousers worn by fashionistas combined with wrap front and cap sleeves.
Style skims the body and creates a flattering waist line with the contrast ties which wraps around the waist or can be easily tied at the side in a bow. Contrast trim around the neckline in our 1930s repro 'chester' print.
Step in and wrap around the front.
