The 'fishtail back' trouser was staple style worn throughout the 1930s to 1950s.  Is a very comfortable trouser, dancers love this style and the ladies say it gives the wearer a very 'becoming' rear.... Looks splendid with matching waistcoat, tank tops and sweaters.

Style fits on the natural waist and rises at the back in the V shape as seen and is designed to be worn with braces. 4 deep pleats on the front with zip fly, button and hook & bar fastening for extra security.  

Leg is quite wide by modern standards with hem circumferance at the magic 22inches.

Inside leg length is 36inches and is provided unfinished for turnup or hemming to correct length. Designed to be worn with braces
