I paid for the expedited shipping and it got here (Texas) from the UK in FIVE days. So that was amazing. As for the waistcoat, I love it. The color is a beautiful, soft brown that seems to pair easily. The material and the sewing, particularly on the buttons, feels secure and usable, not like a novelty item, where a button will pop off at the first twist or tug. I love the functional pocket that's actually four or five inches deep, and the fitted waist makes me feel dashing AND feminine at the same time. I'll definitely be ordering this in any other colors available or that might come out in the future.

Sizing: I'm 5' 6" and about 140lbs (D cup- normally wear sports bras). I ordered a 10 and it fits me pretty perfectly height-wise, but it is definitely "fitted" so I might need to lose an inch or two around the waist before I eat any (more) hobbit meals while wearing it haha Wearing a sports bra, it's very comfortable across the chest and doesn't look loose, but there's room to wear a padded bra as well. I wish there was an option to attach pictures because I'd love to help any future buyers figure out sizing/how it looks on a person.

This is my first purchase from HOF and I’m really delighted with it! The thing I love most about this waistcoat is the shape - it really nips in at the waist to give you a wonderful silhouette (especially if you wear it with the matching skirt). The pointed front is incredibly flattering and the little front pocket looks great with a vintage handkerchief. The fabric is a subtle tweed and the colourway seems to go with everything. It’s very versatile and really does look like an original vintage piece.
