Inspired by Katherine Hepburn's iconic trouser suit look - these fabulous trousers are an authentic rework of an original 1940s trouser pattern adapted for the modern figure and in modern fabric.

Packed with features, this wide leg style has a turn-up, a high waist band, side zip and fastens with a single shell-look button. The wide leg is approx 22 inches circumference. Deep pleats on the front run into a strong and slimming crease. Style also has 2 darts on the back. Topped off with contrast top stitching - this is a fantastic and authentic style.

Fits on the natural waist with a wide waist band. So comfy.

Very wide leg style is great for dancing and was very typical in the 30s & 40s during the rise of sports casual styles.

Leg length: 32" (approx 31.5 inside seam and 0.5 into rise)

Fabric: Rayon/poly with a touch of elastene for stretch
Care: 30 degrees machine wash

They’re a bit big even in the smallest size, however I’m still rly glad I purchased! If your under 5’4 you may need to hem, but I would still reccomend

These trousers are beautiful

I’m always a bit reluctant to buy clothes online but thought I’d take a chance here. These trousers are beautiful. The material is slightly thinner than I thought but this makes the trousers hang just right and doesn’t make my tummy feel big, which is great. I did call the office to ask a few questions and they were most helpful so if your in any doubt regarding sizing that’s what I would do. Love these trousers and had lots of compliments when I wore them.

I really like the selection of colours. I chose the khaki, as it’s not a colour that is available elsewhere. They fit really well, the material is really soft and comfortable. Hope to get a pair in the berry shade as well!

Gorgeous trousers!

I own them in both Berry and Black. The berry colour is beautiful. The fabric is flowy and lightweight. They can work for 30's and 40's outfits. I've a 28" waist and the size 10 fits great. I will add other colours to my wardrobe in the future.
